Composed & recorded in Leominster, Herefordshire, UK, during a trip with my friend. He had recently lost a loved one and we were there to arrange his estate. There was a lovely piano in his house. This piece was originally written in longing for my dearest Elaine, but now I realise the piece is about many different emotions and how they are entwined. My friend's longing for his lost loved one, my longing for a living loved one, how different yet similar those types of longing are and my grief for my friend's grief.
